Someone Else Who Should STFU

I was hoping to see some closure in the Duke lacrosse players fiasco that showed justice being served on behalf of the three young men so despitefully used. Prosecutor Nifong has been disgraced and disbarred but ultimately dropped from the students' lawsuit after claiming bankruptancy.

But what about the stripper/hooker whose lies and obfuscation initiated the affair?

She is working the system again by writing a book.

In a press release, Crystal Mangum's manager has announced plans to release a tell-all memoir entitled "The Last Dance for Grace: The Crystal Mangum Story."

According to the book's co-author Vincent Clark, the book will be released in October.

"It is "the only definitive account of the life and struggles of the woman at the center of the Duke Lacrosse case, the alleged accuser," said Clark in a press release. " Were it not for the Duke Lacrosse Case, she likely would be described as a bright, young woman from Durham, North Carolina, who has had a difficult life."

What's this "alleged accuser" crap? She did it. She made the false accusations to the police; she lied in a sworn affadavit; she perjured herself before a grand jury. And then she kept her mouth shut about her lies for over a year while these men twisted slowly in the wind.

Clark, you are an idiot and you and your idiot client should STFU.

Gauging from her actions I will guarantee that is not how she will be described anytime soon. And I'll give you odds that Clark did most of the writing.
