The academic at the centre of the ‘Climategate’ affair, whose raw data is crucial to the theory of climate change, has admitted that he has trouble ‘keeping track’ of the information.

Colleagues say that the reason Professor Phil Jones has refused Freedom of Information requests is that he may have actually lost the relevant papers.

Ahhhh, excuse me?

Professor Jones told the BBC yesterday there was truth in the observations of colleagues that he lacked organisational skills, that his office was swamped with piles of paper and that his record keeping is ‘not as good as it should be’.

The data is crucial to the famous ‘hockey stick graph’ used by climate change advocates to support the theory.

Professor Jones also conceded the possibility that the world was warmer in medieval times than now – suggesting global warming may not be a man-made phenomenon.

And he said that for the past 15 years there has been no ‘statistically significant’ warming.

Will somebody please notify the MSM and that jug eared poser in Washington that there is no need to cripple our economy in order to accomodate the masturbatorial delusions of Al Gore?

In The Hands Of Children

Charlie the Cop sent me the following video clip of an Iraqi wedding reception. The celebration ended in tragedy because an adult acted recklessly and a child was not supervised.

As you watch this, I want you to use the following imagery; the adult is the US economy and the reckless child is Congress. The results are about the same.


The kid at the reception was too young to understand the risk he assumed when he took hold of the pistol. The results were predictable.

We expect our Senators and Representatives to understand the risks we all assume when they vote on spending measures. Again, the results were entirely predictable. The legislators and administration officials responsible for this financial debacle must be hald accountable for their reckless actions.

Something Stupid This Way Comes

In the early morning hours, when time seems to actually stand still as the distant dawn approaches, a huge multi-engine jet aircraft approaches the McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas. Air traffic controllers clear all runway approaches of competing aircraft and guide Air Force One and it’s accompanying Combat Air Patrol F-16’s to an open landing strip.

As the huge craft touches down there is an eerie silence – the tires smoke but there is no accompanying screech of tortured rubber. Instead, there is the sudden mournful baying of wolves and coyotes. There is no howl of reverse thrust as the craft sharply reduces velocity – only a soft moaning as if the turbofans are being released from a hellish burden.

The white and blue craft moves in concert with the arm motions of the ground crew towards a protected gate, but the ground crew cannot see the pilot or any other crew member through the cockpit windows; it as if there is no human hand at the controls. Baggage handlers standing by the gate feel a cold chill race down their spines and their hands go numb as they see that the enormous tires of the jet plane are not touching the ground, the plane glides silently towards the mobile stairway where Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and their entourage await.

The stairs are moved to the fore entry port of Air Force One; sparks erupt and a powerful odor of sulphur fills the air as the aluminum frame of the mobile aircraft passenger stairway engages the cold, dead iron of the plane.

The passenger door suddenly opens and crashes into the side of the airplane followed immediately by a loathsome hiss; a foul mist of ravaged political ambition careens down the stairs and wafts through the small crowd. One of the female staffers screams and crumbles to the ground in a dead faint. The gofers and interns bolt for the parking lots like frightened pheasants fleeing Satan's Springer Spaniel. Harry Reid noisily soils himself. Nancy Pelosi sprinkles herself liberally with a combination of Holy Water, Botox and Jean Nate', then pours the rest down Reid's pants.

Now the Unholy Specter (not that one) emerges from the plane, the President of Teh Undead, NostroBamus, has arrived in Nevada to campaign, to apply his dark arts – perhaps to feed - just as he has in Copenhagen, New Jersey, Virginia and lastly, Massachusetts.


There is no choice for moderate Democrats or Independents, they must flee to a safe haven.

While browsing through Lucianne's, I was directed to an excellent Mark Steyn commentary where he makes the following observation about Obongo:

When a man has spent his entire adult life in the "community organized" precincts of Chicago, it should hardly be news that much of his Rolodex is made up of either loons or thugs.

Ergo the title of this post. Mr. Steyn's excellent piece compared Obongo's rhetoric and actions to other world leaders past and present and how Obongo fails in the comparison.

Newt has his head up his ass.

Dede is another ethics challenged politician who sees her country and her community as her personal checkbook and runs from controversy by calling the police on people who question her.

Unless they withdraw their endorsements and financial support for left-wing Republican Dede Scozzafava, they will effectively condone a blatant, unwarranted and somewhat frightening attack on a free press.

Ms. Scozzafava, a New York state assemblyman running as a nominal Republican in a three-way special election for Congress, is no favorite of conservatives. Her extreme support for legalized abortion, close ties with the disgraced leftist social group ACORN, and record of high taxing and spending put her in some ways to the left of Democratic candidate Bill Owens.

Then, on Monday, Ms. Scozzafava moved even further left. A campaign spokesman in September had said the candidate opposes proposed "card check" provisions that would eliminate secret ballots in union organizing elections, but a union-friendly Web site reported on Monday that Ms. Scozzafava had told the AFL-CIO that she supports card check after all.

Understandably, Weekly Standard blogger John McCormack asked her after a speech Monday night which reported position is accurate. After she confirmed her unfortunate solidarity with the union, Mr. McCormack tried asking several other polite questions, but her staff hustled her away. When Mr. McCormack later spotted her in the parking lot, he attempted to resume his questioning, but again was rebuffed - and the candidate and her team drove off.

No big deal, right? Mr. McCormack is by all accounts a mild-mannered and polite young man. By his account, he sat in his car to file his report, only to be accosted a few minutes later by police in a vehicle with flashing lights, asking for his name and address. Yes, police.

Ms. Scozzafava's team had called the police on a reporter for asking basic, nonconfrontational questions.[...]

Surprise, surprise. The White House controls the media.

TEL AVIV – President Obama's presidential campaign focused on "making" the news media cover certain issues while rarely communicating anything to the press unless it was "controlled," White House Communications Director Anita Dunn disclosed to the Dominican government at a videotaped conference.

"Very rarely did we communicate through the press anything that we didn't absolutely control," said Dunn.

"One of the reasons we did so many of the David Plouffe videos was not just for our supporters, but also because it was a way for us to get our message out without having to actually talk to reporters," said Dunn, referring to Plouffe, who was Obama's chief campaign manager.

What gets me is that they are so cock sure of themselves, so brazen and arrogant in their confidence that they will never be criticized for their actions. The lap dog media has been spayed, neutered and defanged. No balls or claws; just a whiny, useless mutt that pisses all over the carpet if you look at it funny.

Fox is the only station that won't stand down. Except for Beck, they ain't really snarling yet but I'll give them credit. They are professionals and actually have some sense of what a journalist is supposed to do.

They Just Are That Into You

Seems like the lying sons of bitches in Congress just can't help themselves. They are addicted to ACORN porn.

Nearly $1 million in Homeland Security funding typically earmarked for fire departments has been awarded to ACORN, despite a clear signal from Congress that it intends to cut off federal funding to the embattled group.

The grant to ACORN's Louisiana office became public on Oct. 2, less than three weeks after the House and Senate voted to cut off ACORN funding after employees were caught on video advising a fake prostitute and pimp on scams.

It only reinforces my belief that ACORN services Congress with bribes, campaign contributions, drugs, whores, boys, girls and anything else that these lying bastards want.

It was one of only three such grants issued to the state and made up almost 80 percent of the firefighting money earmarked for Louisiana, prompting one of the U.S. senators from the state to demand that the funds be taken back.

"I request that you rescind this grant based on a history of abuse of federal dollars by ACORN and their clear lack of expertise in this area," said Sen. David Vitter, Louisiana Republican.

It just makes sense that corrupt politicians are in bed with ACORN; that the ACORN chief organizer, Bertha Lewis, feels free to display her hubris so openly for all to see. She knows that a significant number of high powered pols are dependant upon her keeping her mouth shut.

I do not trust Senator Vitter as he made his presence known by his absence when the Senate voted to deny funding to ACORN several weeks ago. A missed flight was the reason given for his absence.

Pray for the State of Louisiana; pray for Gov. Bobby Jindal and State Attorney General Buddy Caldwell to uncover the festering rats nest that is ACORN. It doesn't seem that anyone else in Louisiana will.

Slap, Tickle, Hide The Nuclear Pickle

I remember the nuclear attack drills they held when I was in elementary and junior high school. You'd scramble on your hands and knees under your desk, duck and cover your head with your arms (to protect against supersonic shards of flying glass from a nuclear blast - we were only about thirty miles from NYC) and wait for the teacher to tell you to get back in your chair.

I also remember walking up in the middle of the night hearing the fire sirens (used to summon our town's volunteer fire department) and worrying if the sirens were actually announcing a nuclear attack instead of a fire. I would lie in bed dreading the next fifteen minutes - fifteen minutes was all we had if an actual ICBM warhead was on its way. After twenty minutes or so I could try to get back to sleep knowing that I would not be dying from radiation poisoning that night.

Some of my classmates' dad's had installed bomb shelters in their backyards or made some kind of arrangement in their basements. We could walk by huge drums of emergency rations stored in the basements of our schools.

Israeli kids are already more than familiar with that scenario. The 1991 Iraqi War - Operation Desert Storm (aka the Iraqi Turkey Shoot) - introduced Israeli to SCUD ballistic missile bombardment initiated by a sick, sadistic son of a bitch who had no regard for the lives of others. How can you doubt the savagery of a man who tortures and murders his own people by gas and bullet? Whose mercy is gauged by whether or not you are fed headfirst into a chipper?

There is another man just as cruel who has replaced Saddam Hussein - Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
He makes the same threats to destroy Israel.
He supports terrorism and is directly responsible for the deaths of hundreds of American and British soldiers and Israelis through munitions smuggled into Afghanistan, Iraq and the Gaza Strip.
He is preparing nuclear weapons.
He has been found in contempt of UN resolutions and international law numerous times by exporting munitions, refusing to allow UN inspectors to assess their nuclear weapons program and building uranium enrichment plants.

These actions occur in the nation of Iran and are applauded by Ahmadinejad:

1. Use idle construction cranes to hang homosexuals.
2. Shoot protesters.
3. Kidnap, torture and rape their own citizens who criticize the government.
4. Kidnap and imprison citizens of other nations who criticize the government.

Does this sound just a little familiar?
Have we gone down this path before with another tyrant not even ten years ago?
Why do we allow these sadistic fiends to step foot in this country, UN status notwithstanding?
Why does Obongo ignore this?

The most damning statement regarding Obongo's "alleged" blindness/naivete is that even the French can see what is going on in Iran. Of course the MSM will not allow Teh One to be embarrassed in any shape, matter or form, so the news that French President Sarkozy mocks Obongo on the Irani issue is withheld from the American public. Unemployment is the worst in 60 years, many seniors have lost their life savings, the national media cannot be trusted, Congressional approval rating are nonexistent (demoralization).

When Obongo's racist buddy, Harvard Professor Henry Gates, was arrested by Cambridge Police Sergeant James Crowley, Obongo couldn't contain himself and condemned the cops for "acting stupidly" even though he admitted that he didn't know all the facts.

Now that there are videos galore detailing ACORN's blatant criminal facilitation, that lying incompetent fool in the White House says this on ABC:

STEPHANOPOULOS: How about the funding for ACORN?

OBAMA: You know, f -- frankly, it's not really something I've followed closely. I didn't even know that ACORN was getting a whole lot of federal money.

Like the clown didn't know what was going on with his long time enablers and partners in crime. I only hope that Obongo will be dragged down and immobilized by his association with that scandalous organization. I truly dread the next three years.

Less Bang For The Clunk

A vehicle at 15 mpg traveling 12,000 miles per year uses 800 gallons a year of gasoline.

A vehicle at 25 mpg traveling 12,000 miles per year uses 480 gallons a year.

So, the average clunker transaction will reduce US gasoline consumption by 320 gallons per year.

They claim 700,000 vehicles - so that's 224 million gallons/year.

That equates to a bit over 5 million barrels of oil.

5 million barrels of oil is about ¼ of one day's US consumption.

And, 5 million barrels of oil costs about $375 million dollars at $75/bbl.

So, we all contributed to spending $3 billion to save $375 million.

How good a deal was that???

Do the math a little differently - use the price of gas rather than the price of a barrel of crude. Those 224 million gallons of gas at $2.70 a gallon cost $604.8 million. If the price of gas remains constant, the pay back is 4.96 years.

ACORN, Unicorns And Baby Seals

Today the Senate voted 83 to 7 to deny federal funds for housing and community grants to ACORN. Apparently the undercover videotaping operation carried out by two amateur sleuths, James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles, was enough to embarass the Senate into action. Three times the pair portrayed themselves as a young pimp and his prostitute and got ACORN employees to coach them in ways to fraudulently obtain mortgage loans and falsify their tax records.

In Baltimore, Washington, DC, and again in New York City, ACORN employees were more than happy to advise O'Keefe and Giles on how to break the law. And Glenn Beck hints that there may be more videos forthcoming. What more could ACORN do on hidden video to piss people off? Sacrificing baby seals while serving snail darter hors d'oeuvres? Replacing 16w CFL's with 150w incandescants? Partial birth abortions of pregnant unicorns?

I believe that this change of senatorial discretion/direction may not have happened if not for the 2 million + people who decided to pay a visit to Washington DC last week. Kinda like Mom and Dad walking into your bedroom unexpectedly and catching you jacking off in your sister's training bra.

They did not expect those kinds of numbers.
They did not expect the passion, the commitment.
They did not expect the screaming matches at their usually boring August town hall meetings.
They did not expect the angry emails and phone calls.
They did not expect that Glen Beck would discover their secret handshake.
They did not expect the shitstorm that has erupted amidst their comfortable, pampered existence.

The pols are running scared.

I saw this unbelievable video at Michelle Malkin's site. It shows the crowd gathering for the march on Washington on 9/12. Ms. Malkin tears apart the "nutroot" claim that the video is fake.



As far as I am concerned, if we have to do this again, if the politicians in DC still won't listen that we are sick and tired of their corrupt practices, then next time we burn it all down.

In a related matter, News Busters quotes Newt Gringrich's explanation of the anger displayed by Republicans during Obongo's self serving television speech last week.

I can go through the president's speech and find a lot of things that I like. Then I go to the House Democratic bill and I don't find a single one of those things reflected in the legislation. Now, they, they literally had voted down efforts to make sure that health insurance only went to people who are legally in the United States. So they would have to go back and have very significant changes, which I think would split the Democratic caucus. And I think part of the reason you saw some, some real anger about the speech is he kept describing things that had been explicitly not put in the bill on the House side, and the House bill has no resemblance to the president's speech.

More Whining

Every now and then the wife and I talk about moving to another state. We hate the taxes, we're getting tired of the cold and the snow and we've both had enough of the self serving politicians and the endless catering to special interests. We still have a daughter who is just starting her senior year in high school so the decision whether or not to move will come next summer.

Now the Governor of the State of New York is moving us closer to that decision. From the Daily News:

After complaining on a Friday radio show that he is the victim of an "orchestrated" campaign to push him out of office, Paterson told a blogger that some people are uncomfortable with too many black pols in power.

"Part of what I feel is that one very successful minority is permissible, but when you see too many success stories, then some people get nervous," Paterson told political blogger Gerson Borrero over the weekend.

Seriously, I'm thinking of moving just to avoid further embarrassment from idiots like him. He's far behind Andrew Cuomo in the polls and is now using racial politics to garner sympathy or to deflect attention from the worsening state economy or to mobilize his base.

Or he's drunk.

Whatever the reason for these insane comments, Paterson and his aides fail to realize that people get very uncomfortable when politicians drive their state and their nation into bankruptcy and blame nonexistent factors instead of their own incompetence.

When Idiots Run For Office

I know this is old news, but I am still shocked at the incompetency of the Obongo people in how they lie to the American people. Truly, without the full blown cooperation of the Obongo News Network (ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, etc.) this administration would have been stillborn last November. Well, mebbe not; McCain was DOA even before the RNC convention. His famous "Fight With Me" soliloquy was really, "Jerk Off With Me" and proved to be so at the ballot.

I am referring here to the Shelia Jackson Lee fiasco where an Obama supporter falsely portrays herself as a primary care physician at a news conference held in a hospital. The supporter, Roxana Mayer, is not even close to being a doctor.
