Time Warner Cable v. FIOS

I have just about had it with Tome Warner cable internet service. I have looked into the fiber optic internet service offered by the telelphone company; in my instance, Verizon. There are pros and cons to either side but does anyone have any opinions or experience in this matter?

I have DSL from the Phone Company (BellSouth and&AT&T). It is 512K up and 6.0 down. I have had it for 9 years now and love it. I have had no problems. Only pros so far.

Went from Blight House to FiOS earlier this summer. Got the whole package and saved money in the long run. Won't be going back to regular cable. EVAH! (Hope this helps.)

Hmmmm. Thanks guys. I spoke to a friend today who said basically the same thing. They love the phone company's service.

I use cable at home and DSL at work. If there is any difference, it's in nanoseconds and I don't notice.
