Obongo Goes On Trial?

I don't know how much credence to place on this article, but if it is true, things could get very interesting for Obongo. From World Net Daily:

A California judge today tentatively scheduled a trial for Jan. 26, 2010, for a case that challenges Barack Obama's eligibility to be president based on questions over his qualifications under the requirements of the U.S. Constitution.

If the case actually goes to arguments before U.S. District Judge David Carter, it will be the first time the merits of the dispute have been argued in open court, according to one of the attorneys working on the issue.

All we ask is that some daylight be shone on this issue. All Obongo and his keepers have done is dismiss claims of his foreign birth as ridiculous and label those who questions his nationality as "birthers." The same claims were made against John McCain who was born in Panama, but he coughed up all the required documents. Obongo still refuses to release his long form birth record.

But the judge did not immediately rule on Taitz' motion to be granted discovery – that is the right to see the president's still-concealed records. Nor did Carter rule immediately on a motion to dismiss the case, submitted by the U.S. government, following discussion over Taitz' challenge to the work of a magistrate in the case.

The judge did comment that if there are legitimate constitutional questions regarding Obama's eligibility, they need to be addressed and resolved.

Carter ordered a hearing Oct. 5 on the motion to dismiss and ordered arguments submitted on the issue of discovery.

If the case survives that challenge, a pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Jan. 11 and the trial for two weeks later.

Keep an eye on this one. It may be complete crap and end up like every other attempt to examine his birth certificate, but then again...

I'll act as Devil's Advocate just to stir the pot and throw this in:

Maybe he and the demoncrats are struggling to ram all this deficit spending down our throats in order to beat the reaper so to speak; if Obongo's call to American birth is bogus, there'll be absolute hell to pay so they'd better get all their Xmas shopping done in a big hurry.

While I like that this issue keeps jabbing at him, I've pretty much given up hope that it will ever be resolved. I am actually more interested in his admission papers to the colleges (Occidental and Havard),his thesis and his writings as editor to the Law Review.

I also have to agree with "SoCalOilMan" regarding resolution of the case, but either way, I signed the petition over at WND.

BTW, notice that the good guys wear WHITE hats... ;-)

Also, although I capitolized the word "white", it is NOT a racist statement, just emphasizing the word is all. Damn! In this PC atmosphere we live in ya gotta think of everything nowadays...

If, and that's a big "IF", it turns out that Odumbo wasn't born in Hawaii, anything he signed while illegally occupying the office of President would be automatically null and void.

I'm not counting this thing making it any farther than the judge's desk, but you never know. Besides, even if he was born somewhere else, they've had more than enough time to find an old blank copy of an Hawaiian birth certificate and round up an old typewriter to fill in the blanks. (They could even ask Dum Blather for pointers on how not to fake it.)

Anyway, as I said, it's not likely to go anywhere and we're just going to have to fight these Socialist assholes, tooth and nail, all the way to the bitter end.
