Regards the math, here's a good one for you to amaze friends with.
Have them give you a 4 digit number. Suppose it 4857.
Take that, write it down, and on another piece of paper, subtract 2 and take the 2 you subtracted and stick it on the left making a 5 digit number. So 4857 - 2 = 4855
On another sheet of paper, write: 24855, fold it and hand it to them for safe keeping.
Have them give you another 4 digit number, suppose 3381, write it below the 4857, as so
4857 3381
Now it's your turn. Subtract 3381 (or whatever they gave you) from 9999 and write the result below the 2nd number like so
4857 3381 6618
Have them give you another 4 digit #, suppose 5724, write it below in the 4th spot
4857 3381 6618 5724
subtract that number form 9999 and write the result
4857 3381 6618 5724 4275 __________
Add them up.
They will equal the 5 digit # you wrote down and handed to them. Every time.
Chris - just the fact that there is so much order in the Universe and that the Universe follows immutable (for the most part) laws is a dead give away that there is Someone who imparts Law and Order to His Creation.
